Resource Data Systems has recently developed an innovative Life Extender system that doubles the life of the imaging units that are used in Xerox 7760 color printers.

“We have found a way to double the life of these imaging units, and can guarantee that it works,” says Marv Zessar, owner of RDS Color, who founded the business in 1977.

The ability to extend the life of these imaging units by 200 percent will significantly save the customer hundreds—and possibly thousands—of dollars each year.

A side benefit of the system is that it supports the customer’s initiatives to “go green.” According to Zessar, who has worked in the printer business for the past 20 years, many imaging units are discarded long before they should be. Now, customers can use their imaging units much longer, saving costs—as well as helping keep waste out of landfills.

To install the system, an RDS Service Technician comes to the customer’s location, and can make the upgrade in a matter of minutes. The RDS team is currently developing Life Extender systems for other printer models as well.
